Aerial Service Platform Experimental Testbed
Heavy Lift 1 (2019)
Built at the Washington Aerospace Training & Research Center during the first half of 2019 with a team of six in about 10 weeks.
Propeller: 4x T-Motor 32x11 Carbon Fiber
Motor: 4x T-Motor U13 II 130KV
ESC: 4x T-Motor FLAME 180A HV
Power: 16x Tattu RLine 22.2V 6S 1.3Ah 95C V1.0 (12S12P @44V)
Flight Controller: DYS F4P Pro V2 (STM32F405, MPU6000)
Radio: Frsky R-XSR 2.4GHz (SBUS)
The all up weight could be reduced dramatically, but since this was an experimental testbed, it was less of a concern. Extruded aluminum allows for modularity and flexibility of initial configurations during prototyping. We started with an end to end electrical test on the bench, and got to work milling.
